| Everyone deals with cancer differently... when I was told around 9 years ago that a lump I had found was cancerous, my first reaction was disbelief, as I thought I was pretty healthy and too young for this to be happening to me. But then, you don't really have much choice, other than to deal with it as best you can. It also makes you reavaluate your life... it prompted, my retraining as a teacher, trying to spend more time doing things I enjoy and aiming for a better work-life balance. |
