Celebrating Autumn with rich berry shades, woodland inspired colours,
together with a hint of metallics to give it a vampish quality.

| I've
always had a love of beautiful beads and have been collecting vintage
beads and buttons for many years. My pieces in the revamp exhibitions
are made using some from my collection, combined with a mix of enamelled
copper wire, vintage ribbons and finished off with new findings.
My
aim is to create contemporary wearable gorgeous sculputural jewellery,
and give a new lease of life to my vintage treasures in earring,
pendant and necklace designs.

| I
employ ancient, traditional skills and equipment to create contemporary
textiles, developing my designs into scarves, accessories, wall
hangings and garments.
My
aim is to source and use materials and equipment as ethically and
sustainably as possible, using mainly mill-ends of yarn that would
otherwise be thrown away. I prefer to work with natural fibres,
such as cotton, wool and linen and enjoy experimenting with newer
materials such as hemp, bamboo and soy silk yarns.

Working
in vintage and reclaimed fabrics, I love to create new from old, breathing
life in to rescued textile by playing with the construction of each
piece, reinterpreting them into a contemporary form.
I am exhibiting a small range of bags and accessories made from old
fabrics swatches which has ,to a certain extent, dictated the overall
look of the designs. I have tried to mix both tone and texture, accenting
key colours from the REVAMP exhibition's combined pallet.
